I was talking to someone the other weekend - whom I thought was a friend, and is also a corgi breeder. She had never seen Poppy before. I was (stupidly) excited to have her meet Poppy.She went on about 'ugly' corgis and the conversation went on a loonnnnng downhill spiral from there.
Even if someone's puppy had 5 legs - one of which was sprouting from her neck, why would you ever say things like that?
If someone is walking around with a puppy whom they obviously love, does it really matter what you think? Force yourself to be human if that's what it takes.
Truthfully, Poppy has 4 legs, and awesome smile and a very brave soul. Is she gorgeous? To me she is. You don't have to think so, but at least have the courtesy to talk about it behind my back.
She wants to try to tear you down before you tear it up in the agility ring with Pop Star! :) We all know Poppy is the 2nd best PWC! (and only 2nd to Ben)
