Aidan has signed himself up for flyball this session. He only told me about it last week and I was reluctant, the last thing I need is another evening class, but he was determined.
In 2 weeks, he has learned a pretty impressive box turn - going the opposite of his obsessive spin, learned to pick up a ball in his mouth and tonite, he sent from 2 jumps to the box, got the ball from the loader and brought it back over 2 jumps to me. I have to admit, I am impressed with him.
Can't picture him passing a dog over those narrow jumps just yet, but tonite he did a restrained recall next to a border collie (his big obsession) in the next lane and did not jump lanes to chase the other dog.
How can you not love to see your dog happy?
That's really awesome! Glad to hear he's found something that he enjoys! Maybe one day Java will join him... when I have money again :)
