We have spent a lovely Christmas. This was my first Christmas without my mom, who was my only family left. It was a bit scary, but I am blessed with wonderful and forgiving friends. Thanks to Judy, my long suffering neighbor who loves and takes care of my dogs when I can't. Jen who is hands down the best vet and most fun buddhist buddy I have ever had. Sally, who helped raise Poppy and shares her family and friends with me. And mostly my dogs, who have no choice but to put up with me, but do so with a grace and charm that is awe inspiring.
