Please send help!

It's official - I need a tune up. Don't know where my focus is, but it certainly is not on the present moment. I need to pay attention to what is in front (or behind) of me.
Wednesday, I was in a rush to get all the dogs fed, and then put VooDoo and Poppy in the car to go to class. Feed dogs, check, put VooDoo in car, check, put Poppy outside to pee before putting in car, check. Get dogs back in crates and treated, check.  Get in car and drive to gate, check.  Look in rear view mirror to see Poppy frantically chasing the car, check. No clue that I had not put her in the car, thank god I did not run her over with the car.  I am still having nightmares about this.
Get to class and trek to arena with dog crate a misc stuff.  Trek back to car, to find Poppy's crate door open.  If she had jumped out, it was dark and in a strange neighborhood, I would have never found her. She stayed in the crate and was ok, but it certainly wasn't my fault.  Apparently, I put her in the car without closing the crate door, which was fine until I opened the hatch and left the car.
This morning - I woke up late and was trying to get out of the way of the people that clean my house.  In pulling out of the driveway, I have to make a U-turn to face forward on my driveway.  I did not look behind me, and hit their car which was parked in my driveway.
Not sure what is wrong in my universe, but am quite sure that if I was a dog, I would like to belong to someone other than myself.

  2. Wow - that sucks! We missed you Saturday! Tali was sad that her beau Focus was supposed to run right before her sometimes but wasn't there for her to sniff his butt! Hope things are going better in your universe!

  3. Since I've been there (still am a lot of the time), I can say this: I think it's just a bunch of things all ganging up on you at once -- blonde + menopause + stress = tilted universe!
