Paws for Justice

Ben has been accepted into the Paws for Justice program.  This is a groundbreaking program to help abused children  testify using a dog to help them.  The dog used has to be able to calmly handle the attention of a strange child/teen, tension of a courtroom, and unknown environment.  The handler can do very little to help the dog, but the dog must be appropriate at all times.  We all have personally witnessed the ability of dogs to calm and support us.  It's awesome that Hillsborough county is making it a part of their legal system.
There are not many dogs with the temperament to handle this job.
Ben is one.

  1. I think that is really wonderful. Ben is an ideal dog for such circumstances, and it's such a needed thing for both of you to do. Isn't it overwhelming to know what our dogs are capable of?
