The Anti-Job saga continues.....

This is my 4th week at my new job.  A lot of things have gotten easier and I can now see that it's not perfect but it's pretty darn awesome.

 It's very challenging and the whole learning curve and getting up to speed is frustrating but I wish that I had found this job when I was just starting out in the field, it might have changed my whole life.

And on the non-essential perks side, I have an office with ribbons, trophies and pictures of the dogs on my walls.  I am waiting to the maintenance guy to hang my tibetan mandala and then it will be a refuge also.

My last job served an important purpose - it taught me the skills and exposed me to some of the most awesomely brilliant people I have ever met - but I never felt as if I belonged there.  Have you ever been somewhere that felt really alien.  It always shocked me to walk by our group picture and see me among the rest.

Even more than anything else, I feel like I belong here, check back in another couple of months and see if the feeling sticks, but I bet it will.....

I am in awe of them.
