Hopefully....
A well repair man came yesterday afternoon during work hours, so my friend Judy went to meet him. When she drove up, RockIt and Harley were in the front yard. Harley was confused and scared, RockIt was trying to eat the man. Judy found the gate open in the dog run.
Bad enough situation, but thank god it was Judy and the well man who knew enough to stay outside the fence, if it had been the lawn guys, they would have left the front gate open and who knows how many dogs would be left?
So, no big deal, right? Just get one of those crate latches and hook it thru the little hole so the gate latch can't open?
Not so much... came home today to find RockIt standing in the driveway and not one, but 2 gates open, and worse, the latches were still down - the gates had been pounded until there was enough play for it to open.
Enter Judy again, bolt cutters, chain and heavy duty hooks in hand. It will take me 15 minutes to get in my front yard now, and not sure how the lawn guy is going to mow all the yards, but if I come home tomorrow and RockIt is in my front yard, you can visit me in the mental health center closest to my house.......
