Poppy decided after watching the water and the other dogs, that, yeah, maybe corgis do have that water bug after all! I went back and forth all day on whether to take her to a dog beach, it's like a dog park, without size restrictions and altho this particular beach has never been overly crowded, she is only 9 lbs.
The last thing I want - is to have her have a bad experience in a new situation - she has been the most well adjusted puppy I have ever seen, and I didn't want to mess with that- but still, in Florida, a dog needs to swim in the summer.
She swam last weekend in a lake, and a swimming pool, so we decided to go for it.
She liked the sand too!
