Our performance anxiety increased dramatically with the venue (at least mine did). Poppy was cautious and accurate on Saturday (2 q's with blue ribbons). However I liked her performance better on Sunday, she decided in favor of speed, throwing accuracy to the wind. She had a lot more fun. and managed another 'q' because it's novice and you can do amazing things and still 'q'.

VooDoo had speed and great contacts - weave poles were noticable absent from his performance which somehow was unexpected. On the plus side, we have done 3 trials and I haven't screwed up his contact criteria. That may be a record for me. Maybe I have learned something, but it's more likely that he is just a very good dog.

I also ran Ben - for comfort. And he rewarded me by having a perfect weekend. Gotta love the Ben!
