Week 1 of my new life - a review by a biased observer

My resolutions for this week were:
- eat well
- stay positive
- meditate each morning before leaving
- start moving

There was progress made on all fronts.

I only ate ice cream AFTER eating liquifed beets and had a nice mixture of fresh fruits and veggies from the juicer.

Progress was made in staying positive, it seems to vary according to my energy level.  Work was tough, lots of work and very little direction, but my concentration level was good and my confidence was also good.

Lost it at the end of the week with a friend in a very dramatic way - in my defense, it was Friday evening - worked quite a bit more than 40 hours, plus taught a class and went to agility on Tues - was sooo tired and kind of discouraged - unfortunate timing to bring up old baggage to 'process'.

Funnily, it's very hard to hang up on someone with an iphone - the service drops so continually, that they just think the connection was lost and you can't even slam  the receiver down.

5 for 7 on the meditation thing - helped a lot to get me out of the door.

Moving ... I walked 1 mile at lunch 4 days, went to agility class, and a show on Saturday - ran Voodoo only.  Ran a mile today and did a tiny bit of weights - still kind of freaky about raising my right arm - all the surgery under my armpit to take the lymph nodes feels like it will tear - I'm sure it's fine, but will let myself go at my own comfort level.

Need to go to chiro next week - fell pretty hard yesterday and it feels like I have whiplash in my neck - but that kind of thing also happened before I had cancer -  charm is my thing, not grace.... :)

Thank you to my fiend Bob with his very comforting and cool cards that he took the time and thought to send - the puppy on the step was awesomely appropriate.
